Four operational modes

One instrument, four structural analyses.

Step 1Price audit

Audit your prices

Enter every work you have priced, sold or still available. This step finds the rule your prices already follow, points out the ones that break it, and works out your median price. The three steps after this one all price from that figure.

Step 2Price revision

Revise your prices

Puts your whole list right. You can rebuild it on the median price, raise it if your career has moved, or bring down only the prices that never actually got paid. Whichever you choose, this step sets the median your future prices will use.

Step 3New work

Price a new work

You have finished a piece and need a price for it. Give its medium and its size, nothing more: your median price and your reference format are already on file, so the answer takes thirty seconds.

Step 4Exhibition

Price a full exhibition

You are showing several works together and they are not all the same size or medium. This step prices the whole show on your median, then checks the prices form a ladder a buyer can climb rather than a set of unrelated numbers.
